HOW TO MAKE YOUR STEMS

Online Mastering

Files extension: in order to ensure the best possible result from our online mastering service we ask you to send only files with .wav or .aiff extensions. For the same reason the mp3 files will not be accepted.

Files quality: the files should be stereo, 24 bit, 44.1 Khz.

Plugins: don’ t add any effect when you export the stereo file.

Peaks: make sure that the peak of the master track of you mix is between -3 dBFS and -6 dBFS, in order to let us enough room and add the rigth quantity of volume.

Volume: if the master track exceeds the peak, please don’t turn down the master volume, but the volume of the single tracks in the mix.

Clips: be sure that also the tracks of the mix don’t clip. In that case, please reduce the volume of the tracks.

File name: if you send us more than one file, please make a folder and compress them to a .zip or a .rar file and remember to insert the artist name and the song name in the name of the file (eg. artistname_songname.wav)

Additional information: If you have any special request or references to other songs to improve the online mastering result, please list them in a note and add it to the .zip or .rar file.

Online Mixing

Files extension: in order to ensure the best possible result from our online mixing service we ask you to send only files with .wav or .aiff extensions. For the same reason the mp3 files will not be accepted.

Files quality: the files quality of the single tracks should be, 24 bit, 44.1 Khz.

Tracks alignment: be sure that all the tracks start from the same point. Make all channel stems from the start point (0.00 sec.) to the end of your song. All stems must be of the same length.

Effects: don’ t add any EQ, compression or effect.

Pan: the pan of every single track should be in the center.

Folder name and bpm: put al the files of the song into a folder an compress in to a zip or rar file. Label the folder with the name of the artist, the name of song and the bpm (eg. artistname_songname_bpm.zip). ATTENTION: in the folder add also your original song.

Additional information: If you have any special request or references to other songs to improve the online mixing result, please list them in a note and add it to the zip file.

Online Stem Mastering

Files extension: in order to ensure the best possible result from our online stem mastering service we ask you to send only files with .wav or .aiff extensions. For the same reason the mp3 files will not be accepted

Files quality: the files quality of the single tracks should be, 24 bit, 44.1 Khz.

Tracks: send us one separate render for each sound group:
– 1 render for the kick
– 1 render for all the other drums
– 1 render for the bass group
– 1 render for all harmonics
– 1 render for the vocals
– 1 render for the fx

Tracks alignment: be sure that all the tracks start from the same point. Make all channel stems from the start point (0.00 sec.) to the end of your song. All stems must be of the same length.
